Vacation Time!

I live in Florida. I am close to Orlando, Florida amusement parks, and I am by no means a stranger to them! This year I am planning a trip to Sea World in April, and Disney World in December. Even with me living in Florida, a trip to Orlando can be pricy, but I have learned over the years a few ways to save. First, there are hotels that serve breakfast and dinner for free. You want to choose a hotel with free meals, because that will save you average $30 a day. Second, there are ways to get tickets to amusement parks for free if you want to spend the time. You can sign up to listen to time share companies try to sell you a time share. You are not obligated to purchase a time share, but they will compensate you for listening. Third, bring your own drinks and snacks. The parks will allow you to bring your own drinks and snacks, and trust me you don't want to pay for drinks in the parks! There are many ways to save on your vacation! I cant wait to tell everyone how my trip went!

Kabobs

Tonight we are making Kabobs with yellow rice for dinner. This is such a good easy meal for the weeknights. You can make your own kabobs by adding to or taking away from my recipe. Ingredients: Chicken (cubed) Sausage Onions Mushrooms Bell peppers Cherry tomato Montreal steak seasoning Dale First, you dice and cube all of the ingredients. Second, marinate the ingredients in olive oil and Montreal steak seasoning. Cook everything on the grill (in a grill pan) and baste the ingredients with Dale seasoning. I serve this dish with yellow rice.

Cake Mix Cookies

I recently learned a quick and easy recipe for homemade cookies. This recipe is so easy your 10 year could make them! You will need to purchase a few cake mixes, chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, peanut butter chips,or anything that you can image that would go good inside of a cookie! I purchased a strawberry cake mix, a vanilla cake mix, and an assortment of chips (chocolate, white, and peanut butter).  Recipe: 1 cake mix 1/2 cup of oil 2 eggs white chocolate chips (approx. 1/2 cup) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix 1 strawberry cake mix, 1/2 cup of oil, 2 eggs, and white chocolate chips together. Put spoon fulls of the mixture on a baking sheet. Cook for 12 minutes. Remove from oven and let them cool for 3 minutes. Then serve!  You can get as creative as you want with these cookies, and they are so easy! Enjoy!
