Making homemade Rolls is actually pretty easy. It sounds difficult, but once you try it for the first time you will never go back. I'm going to give you a basic, easy recipe that is good for beginners. 1 1/2 cups warm water 1 tablespoon yeast 2 tablespoons sugar 2 tablespoons butter softened 1 teaspoon salt 4 cups all-purpose flour more or less as needed 3 tablespoons melted butter sea salt flakes for sprinkling on top Instructions First, dissolve the yeast and sugar in the hot water (first 3 bullet points). You let this sit for about 5 minutes. It starts to look foamy. That's when you know its time to move to the next step. Second, add the softened butter, salt, and 1 cup of four to the mixer. Begin mixing at a slow speed. Start adding 1/4 cup of remaining flour at a time until the dough is formed. You may not use the entire 4 cups of flour and that is ok.
